Question 1

Are my images uploaded to a server?

Accepted Answer

No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device.

Question 2

What image formats are supported?

Accepted Answer

You can open any format your browser supports — typically JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, and sometimes HEIC. Output can be saved as JPG, PNG, or WebP.

Question 3

Does removing EXIF data work on all images?

Accepted Answer

Yes. With no pixel operation selected, metadata is removed from JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF/HEIC and SVG files without recompressing: GPS location, camera and author details, XMP, comments and editor data are dropped. Only the color profile and the orientation tag are kept, so photos still display upright. When resize, conversion, transparency, rotation, or adjustments are enabled, the image is redrawn through Canvas, which also strips metadata from the output.

Question 4

Can I process multiple images at once?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can drop or select multiple files at once. Use 'Apply to all' for uniform settings, or configure each image individually.
