Proton Mail Introduces Post-Quantum Encryption for All Users
Proton Mail has announced the rollout of post-quantum encryption, making the advanced security feature available to all users, including those on the free plan.
Users can enable post-quantum protection directly in account settings.

Post-quantum encryption is designed to safeguard data against future threats posed by quantum computers, which could potentially break current cryptographic standards.
After enabling the feature, users must update their recovery methods. Existing recovery seeds and files will become invalid, so it is necessary to generate and securely store new ones to maintain account access.
